Delivering RF energy
in different ways.
POTENZA is a radiofrequency medical device from Jeisys Medical. Energy is delivered through skin-contact electrode tips or microneedle tips.
The console and three handpieces
The console selects a mode and settings suited to the tip, and the handpiece delivers energy to the skin. Available tips are reviewed according to the intended treatment.

The device name alone does not define a treatment. The approach differs according to surface contact or microneedle use, the selected tip and the energy settings.
Invasive and non-invasive:
two ways to contact skin.
Your clinician assesses your skin and concerns before selecting the appropriate mode and tip.
INVASIVE RFMicroneedle RF
Fine needles enter the skin before RF energy is delivered. Insulated and non-insulated microneedle tips are available, with setting ranges depending on the tip.
NON-INVASIVE RFSurface-contact RF
Electrode tips contact the skin surface to deliver RF energy. Tip structures such as DIAMOND, DDR and SFA differ in delivery method and application.
From needle insertion
to RF delivery.
Microneedle RF delivers energy to the dermis, using the principle of tissue coagulation.

01 · Skin contact
The selected tip contacts the treatment area and fine needles enter the skin.

02 · RF delivery
RF energy is delivered through the needles according to the selected settings.

03 · Coagulation zones
The thermal effect of RF creates coagulation zones in tissue around the needles.

Energy type and depth,
selected with skin response in mind.
Available RF types and penetration depths differ by tip. Your clinician selects settings suited to your skin.
Types of radiofrequency

Monopolar and bipolar RF differ in the path of electrical current. Selection is limited to the modes supported by the tip.
RF penetration depth

Depth and energy delivery settings depend on skin thickness, the treatment area and tip characteristics. The illustration is conceptual.
POTENZA checks skin impedance during RF delivery and adjusts energy based on feedback. This does not eliminate the possibility of adverse effects; appropriate tips and settings remain necessary.
Three non-invasive tips
for surface contact.
Each tip has a different electrode structure and application method. Confirm the tips and treatment options available at your consultation.

DIAMOND TIP
A surface-contact tip that can apply both monopolar and bipolar RF.

DDR TIP
A non-invasive tip that delivers RF as it is moved across the skin surface.

SFA TIP
Multiple electrodes contact the skin surface to deliver energy.

Microneedle tips also differ
in their structure.
Representative categories in the manufacturer’s range. Not every tip is used during a single treatment.

Insulated · I series
Microneedle tips with an insulated structure. Needle configuration and selected settings guide their use.

Non-insulated · N series
Microneedle tips with an electrode structure different from insulated tips. Energy delivery characteristics and skin condition are considered together.

CP series
A microneedle tip series with a distinct design. Whether it is used depends on the treatment plan discussed at consultation.
| What we assess | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Tip type | Energy delivery differs according to invasiveness and electrode structure. |
| Depth, output and duration | Settings take skin thickness, treatment area and response into account. |
| Past treatments and recovery schedule | Treatment spacing, sensitivity and plans for returning to daily activities are considered together. |

Tell us about
your skin concerns.
We assess the type and pattern of concerns such as pores, scars, texture and firmness. Suitable treatments and approaches vary with skin condition.
Area and skin condition
We assess the location and depth of the concern, skin thickness, inflammation and sensitivity.
Treatment history and timing
Share previous laser and injection treatments, recent dates and any recovery-related commitments.
Health information
Tell us about medications, bleeding disorders, implanted medical devices or metal implants, and pregnancy in advance.
Plan after assessment,
then monitor the response.
Assessment
We review the area, skin condition, contraindications and precautions.
Select the tip and mode
Tip, energy settings and preparation are selected according to your skin.
Treat and monitor
Skin response is monitored during treatment. Tell the clinical team promptly about discomfort.
Aftercare and review
Receive guidance on soothing and moisturizing care, and discuss follow-up.
Aftercare should match
your mode and skin condition.
Redness, swelling, stinging and other recovery responses vary with microneedle use and treatment intensity.
Sun protection
Reduce sun exposure and follow the protection advice you receive.
Moisturizing and hydration
Skin may feel dry or sensitive. Ask about gentle care methods.
Limit friction and irritation
Ask when to resume rubbing, exfoliation and similar activities.
Monitor symptoms
Report severe pain, blisters, prolonged redness or other unexpected reactions.

More questions about POTENZA?
What principle does POTENZA use?
It is a medical device that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy. It supports both microneedles entering the skin and electrode tips contacting the skin surface.
Will I receive both invasive and non-invasive modes?
Selection depends on the treatment goal and skin condition. Ask which tips and treatment options are available.
Does the Diamond tip use microneedles?
The manufacturer classifies DIAMOND as a non-invasive tip. It contacts the skin surface and can apply monopolar and bipolar RF.
Are the same depth and output used for everyone?
Settings vary with skin thickness, the area and the tip’s supported range. Discuss a suitable plan rather than choosing depth or output yourself.
Can I wear makeup or exercise immediately afterwards?
Timing varies by treatment method and skin response. Follow separate instructions for cleansing, makeup, exercise and sauna use.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your skin, treatment goals and recovery response. Session numbers and intervals are planned after consultation, not applied identically to everyone.
